How the schedule works
Adhan JS 4.4.6 calculates prayer times from a date, coordinates and explicit method parameters. Your browser’s time-zone data, which follows the IANA time zone database, converts the returned instants into local clock times. Every calculation runs on your device; nothing is sent to a server.
What is deliberately left out
- Mosque schedules: iqamah, Jumu’ah and Tarawih times are never estimated or copied.
- Hijri dates and moon-sighting announcements.
- Device location, a live compass, notifications, audio and accounts.
- Mosque affiliation or endorsement: preset names such as ISNA describe a published convention, not a partnership.
Sources
The method presets follow the angles and intervals documented in the Adhan JS method reference. City coordinates are approximate centres, and each city page states the exact values used. Search demand for locations and topics comes from a keyword export dated 24 September 2026; it guides which pages exist, not what the calculator returns.
Privacy
The site calculates locally in your browser. It does not request device location, store preferences, set cookies, play audio or contact an analytics service. Downloaded timetables contain the location and settings you selected and nothing else.
Dates and updates
Each page shows when it was first published and when its content last changed. City pages regenerate their yearly table on every build, so their updated date moves at least once a year.
Limits of this reference
The calculations have been checked numerically and in real browsers across host time zones, date-line locations, daylight-saving transitions and polar summers. Religious terminology, calculation conventions and local practice have not been reviewed by a qualified scholar, and no scholarly approval or official accuracy is claimed.
